TCV Alumni Association New York & New Jersey organized “Women with Wisdom” program.  On behalf of all the alumni of USA, we presented Amala with “Women with Wisdom” award, thanking for her guidance, compassion & Kindness. Award was presented to her by our special guests of evening, Lynn Croneberger-Chief Executive Officer of SOS-USA and Laura Mikell, representative of Eileen Fisher.

While the silver jubilee batch- class of  1989 were having their meeting with TCV H.O Management at the Conference Hall, TCV Alumni Association Dhasa organized Men & Women Basketball tournament.

To honour one of our former students we are proud to have Mr. Sonam Dorjee, Settlement officer of Dharamshala  as our Chief Guest during the day. Many of our Ex-TCVians in and around Dharamshala gathered to witness the Basketball game as well as to attend our annual luncheon gathering.

After  delicious lunch was served to TCV Anniversary Guests, 20 Years Service Awardees, TCV 1989 Batch and ExTCVians who were to attend the Alumni Meeting at Deckyi Tsering Hall,  Mr. Losang Tenzin, President of TCVAA Dhasa welcomed all and read the detail Financial situation and activities undertaken during the last 2 years of TCV Alumni Association, Dharamshala, etc.

This was followed by a brief talk from Gen Tsewang Yeshi la, President of TCV on the TCV and importance of TCV Alumni Association Dharamshala as well as other TCV AAs around the world.

He also expressed his views on the importance of various TCV Alumni Associations to work hand in hand and esp. the TCVAA Dhasa being in the prime area and having maximum nos. of ExTCVians with proximity to TCV (Alma Mater).

On top of that, he urged the TCV Alumni to enroll in to the TCV
Membership Drive that was recently developed by TCV Head Office in
order to support the Child Sponsorship and could work as a financial
life-line of TCV in long run.

He also expressed his joy of having met quite a number of ExTCVians under one roof at TCV Hall and wishes to see/hear more of such activities in the coming days and grow.

After that the formal Voting of the 3rd Executive Members of the TCVAA Dhasa started with around 10 good Nominees already shortlisted during the Meeting of TCVAA  Executives, Advisors and Area Coordinators at the TCV Gopalpur on 28 Sept 2014.
